seems to me that it’s just saturation… with so many restaurants and a fixed population, there are only so many dollars for restaurants to take in

the more that open up, the thinner the slice… unless it’s a really good or really established place… it’s a tough market

unless the demand increases with more people (or higher incomes!), I wouldn’t expect a net increase in the options – we need more people!

Believe it or not, all that construction created a rental office for the Brooklyn Bridge Condos that are in the excavation stage in the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Park.
