Could it Be? BeeBop Spotted in Brooklyn Bridge Park

A BHB reader sent this dispatch to Cathy, owner of BeeBop the missing Willowtown cat:

I was just running on the footpath between Piers 1 and 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park and saw a cat near the rocks/water between where Pier 2 & 3 will be. I thought that the cat looked dark gray but could have been black, and I think had a white face – based on the photo on the Brooklyn Heights blog, I’m not 100% sure that it is BeeBop, and I apologize if it isn’t!

    Grey with a white face? Does not sound like the lost Beebop. But if I go down there, I’ll be on the lookout.

    Thanks David! It doesn’t sound like him but stranger things have happened. I don’t think he could survive in that heat for 1 month w/out food and water unless somebody recently dumped him there.
