@ In The Heights: I think you mean that the 27th is Yom Kippur. Technically, does it matter, though? The Montague St. games end at 5 PM, which is before sundown, when the solemnity of Yom Kippur officially begins.

I was just saying yesterday that they didn’t close down the streets this summer. I don’t see what’s to gain. Montague St. functions as public space as it is.

the design of the proposed streetlights are too fancy for shepherds, which is why they are called bishop’s crooks not shepherd crooks. Monatgue Street has had them for years. Atlantic Avenue has had them for years. Clinton Street in Cobble Hill and Smith Street in Bourum Hill has had them for years. Ditmas Park and Prospect Park South put them in last year. Stuyvesant Heights in Bedford Stuyvesant had them installed about five years ago. Just FYI.
