I don't think there was ever one on Clinton—and I actually don't even remember the one on Fulton, although I know there was one there at some point.

We thought the name of the area had been Fulton Ferry Landing?

There was a Horn & Hardart on Fulton Street, backing onto Lawrence. The outline of the letters was there until recently. Here's a photo:
